Forest Sketches

Back on environments again this week. I've never really painted any kind of 'forest scene' so I spent today doing a few sketches. I did get pretty frustrated with a few of these, I generally had an idea of the kind of feel I wanted for them, but I struggled getting compositions that I was happy with. 

I'm going to have to start doing more 'finished' pieces soon I think rather than just sketches.
